Onsite Support Visits

YLP offer a wide range of onsite interventions such as leadership & management development, quality of education & curriculum intent, implementation & impact review,  observations of teaching & learning, learner journey audits and a holistic approach to provision review involving all staff, learners and employers along with a wide range of evidence, professional discussion and observation.

On-site support visits are completed in order to help training organisations plan, prepare and review provision as part of a quality improvement intervention.

OTLA is a key process in the improving and maintaining of teaching standards and supporting tutors to further develop and enhance their skills.

Support with writing self-assessment reports and quality improvement planning, ensuring the reports are judgement rich and impact heavy to fully support & back up the providers service and grades awarded.

YLP have developed a range of health checks to support providers quality improvement arrangements.

Observations of Teaching, Learning and Assessment

OTLA is a key process in the improving and maintaining of teaching standards and supporting tutors to further develop and enhance their skills.   Observation ensures that all learners are receiving a high standard of education which will enable them to progress in life, learning and work. We can offer not only OTLA training but also complete observations on your behalf to allow you the time to spend on quality improvement activities with your team.

“The YLP OTLA training was particularly well received by the staff and we received some excellent advice that enabled us to further enhance our own processes”

SAR and QIP Development

Support with writing self-assessment reports and quality improvement planning, ensuring the reports are judgement rich and impact heavy to fully support & back up the providers service and grades awarded.

SAR & QIP development can be completed as part of a onsite intervention day with quality teams or the person resorbable for writing the report ensuring the evidence is in place to support the statements or can include proof reading and providing feedback and recommendations.

WYLP will also provide examples of quality improvement plans and how to monitor progress against actions.

“Thanks for your time, I feel ready to crack on with the SAR & evidence gathering”

Provider Health Check

YLP have developed a range of health checks to support providers quality improvement arrangements and in particular 2 health checks relating to Ofsted monitoring visits for new providers and full inspections for existing providers.  These health checks will help providers prepare for their Ofsted visit and aid them in ensuring supporting evidence is in place to back up judgements and grading.

The health checks can be completed via onsite visits reviewing all evidence and provision with a supporting follow up report or via desk-based proof reading and providing ongoing guidance.
