Prevent
The Prevent duty is a legislative requirement that all training organisations need to adhere to as part of their safeguarding arrangements.
Responding to Prevent and ensuring you meet the requirements of the duty and Ofsted involves a range of activities and interventions to take place.
YLP support services can aid you in the development & implementation of Prevent to ensure your current arrangements are enhanced and are providing the best possible service to you staff, learners and employers so they are aware of the threats, risks and safety arrangements.
YLP can support with policy development, Prevent Health Check and action planning against the Duty and developing effective risk assessments within your organisation.
We can help develop your internal resources and look at ways of embedding & contextualising the Prevent Duty.
YLP’s MD is Home Office trained to deliver WRAP training (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent) which can be delivered in house or as part on on-going webinar and CPD requirements.
Support can be provided to your board and senior managers around their responsibilities in relation to Prevent.
