Get ahead with Apprenticeships The world is changing fast and to get ahead these days you need to have some top notch skills. But you don’t need to sit in a classroom all day to get them. An Apprenticeship is a real job with training so you can earn while you learn and pick up some recognised qualifications as you go. If you live in England, are over 16 and not in full time education you can apply. They take between one and four years to complete and cover 1,200 job roles, in a range of industries, from things like engineering to financial advice, veterinary nursing to accountancy.

West Yorkshire Learning Providers (WYLP) is the largest network of learning providers in the region and one of the largest networks of its kind in the country. 

WYLP is a membership based organisation working to support members in the delivery of Apprenticeships, employment and skills provision. Our network members include independent training providers, voluntary and community organisations, further education colleges, local councils, partnerships and individuals who are delivering employment and skills provision across West Yorkshire and the wider Leeds City Region.

WYLP and the network are here to help young people and adults learners, individuals who are unemployed, employers, partnerships and other stakeholders.
