Yorkshire Learning Providers is committed to delivering social value across the region by supporting communities, improving access to education and skills, promoting social mobility, and creating opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Through collaborative partnerships with providers, employers, local authorities and community organisations, YLP aims to ensure that education and skills provision contributes positively to local economic growth and community wellbeing.
Social value is embedded throughout YLP's projects, research, employer engagement activities and policy work — it isn't a bolt-on, it's the thread that runs through the network.

Social value is a sector-wide job
No single provider can shift outcomes for young people not in education, employment or training, close gaps in representation, or move an entire sector towards net zero on its own. That's the case for a network — shared practice, shared evidence, shared voice.
