Summer Campaign
"At a time when the UK's system for supporting young people into education and employment is widely recognised as fragmented and failing to meet the needs of many, particularly the most vulnerable, this campaign provides a practical local solution.
By connecting young people with Leeds' diverse network of post-16 providers through authentic learner stories and engaging digital content, it will make opportunities more visible, accessible and relatable, helping more young people discover pathways that are right for them while strengthening collaboration across the city's education and training sector."

What is our 16-18 Offer: Summer Campaign?
As part of the Leeds 16–18 Provision Directory project, YLP is proposing a city-wide marketing campaign designed to further raise awareness of the breadth of post-16 provision available across Leeds.
Building on the success of the directory and online search platform, the campaign will focus on bringing the offer to life through a series of professionally produced learner case studies and short promotional videos featuring providers included within the directory.
Running from June through the summer, the campaign will showcase real learner journeys, positive destinations and the impact of post-16 provision across the city. The aim is to support young people, families and professionals to better understand the opportunities available, while also increasing visibility for providers and celebrating the diverse pathways Leeds has to offer. Providers will be invited to participate by sharing learner success stories and taking part in filmed content that can be used across YLP, partner and directory marketing channels.
Student Success Booklet
This Student Success Stories Booklet celebrates learners from providers across Leeds who have overcome challenges, developed confidence, gained new skills and taken positive steps towards their futures. Through a collection of case studies and personal experiences, the booklet highlights the difference that inclusive, supportive and ambitious post-16 provision can make in the lives of young people.
The stories featured showcase a broad range of pathways, ambitions and achievements, reflecting the diversity of learners and providers across the city. From progressing into employment, apprenticeships and further education, to building confidence, independence and wellbeing, each journey demonstrates the value of accessible and tailored support.
We hope this booklet not only celebrates the successes of young people in Leeds, but also raises awareness of the opportunities available. Most importantly, we hope these stories inspire other young people to explore their options and recognise what is possible for their own future.
