Early 2000s

Founded

Yorkshire Learning Providers established to bring FE providers together across the region.

2017

Matrix Accreditation

Achieved Matrix accreditation, recognised for the quality of our services and member support.

2022

Rebrand & Relaunch

YLP relaunched under new strategic leadership with a renewed focus on quality, collaboration and regional impact.

2024–25

Expanding Nationally

Who can join YLP? +
YLP membership is open to further education providers, independent training providers, employers, colleges, schools and organisations across the education and skills sector in Yorkshire and beyond.
How much does membership cost? +
Membership fees vary depending on the size and type of organisation. Please visit our membership page or get in touch for a conversation about the options available to you.
Can non-members access consultancy? +
Yes. Some of our consultancy and provider support services are available to non-members, though members benefit from preferential access and pricing. Contact us to discuss your needs.
Do you work outside Yorkshire? +
Our core focus is Yorkshire, but we have national representation through organisations including the Northern Skills Network and Skills England. Many of our resources and support services are relevant to providers across England.
How do I attend events? +
All upcoming events are listed on our Events page. Simply click on an event to view full details and book via Eventbrite. Members receive advance notice and priority booking for many events.
How do I access funded projects? +
Information about current funded projects and programmes is available on our Projects & Contracts page. Members are often the first to hear about new funding opportunities.
