Alex has spent almost two decades supporting colleges, independent training providers, universities, schools and employers to strengthen apprenticeship and skills provision. Since relaunching Yorkshire Learning Providers in 2022, Alex has led the organisation's strategic direction, ensuring every project aligns with YLP's mission to improve social mobility and create meaningful impact across Yorkshire.

Who can become a YLP member? +
YLP membership is open to further education providers, independent training providers, employers, colleges, schools and organisations across the education and skills sector in Yorkshire and beyond.
Do you work outside Yorkshire? +
While our core focus is Yorkshire, we have national representation through bodies such as the Northern Skills Network and the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, and many of our resources and insights are valuable to providers across England.
Can YLP provide consultancy? +

Absolutely. Alex is a trained Ofsted Inspector and can provide bespoke support for providers preparing for inspection, including quality walks, mock inspections and self-assessment support.
