A network with purpose

Yorkshire Learning Providers (YLP) is a membership network representing independent training providers, colleges, employers, voluntary sector organisations and strategic partners across Yorkshire and the Humber.

We support collaboration, quality improvement, workforce development and policy engagement across the skills, apprenticeships and further education sector.

Does our organisation size matter for eligibility?
No — YLP welcomes organisations of all sizes, from sole traders and micro-charities to large colleges and national training providers. What matters is your work within the skills, education and workforce development landscape across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Can membership fees be paid monthly? Does the price include VAT?
Membership fees are typically invoiced annually. Please contact us directly to discuss payment options. Membership fees are subject to VAT — we'll confirm the exact fee and VAT position when you enquire.
How many staff from our organisation can access membership services and CPD?
Membership is organisational, so benefits are available to the whole team. Multiple staff can attend CPD forums, access sector updates and use the directory. For event bookings, reduced rates apply per delegate — contact us for details on group bookings.
Will we be notified when our membership is due for renewal?
Yes — we'll send a renewal reminder in advance of your membership expiry date. You'll receive communication with updated membership information, any changes to benefits, and an invoice for the coming year. We aim to make renewal as smooth as possible.
Which membership type is right for us?
If you directly deliver skills, apprenticeships or further education, Main Membership is the right fit. If you support the sector as a supplier, employer or consultancy, Associate Membership is for you. If you're a charity, CIC or community organisation, VCSE Membership offers affordable access. Not sure? Drop us an enquiry and we'll advise.
We're based outside Yorkshire — can we still join?
YLP's network spans organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber, but we also work with national organisations that operate in or alongside our region. Associate Membership in particular is well-suited to organisations with national reach wanting to connect with Yorkshire's skills sector. Please get in touch to discuss.
